question on blue carpet

hey guys i recently saw a blue carpet at a local fish store and wanted to buy it the owner was not in so a kid was thier but had no idea on price so i asked him to hold it for me till tomorrow so he is holding it for me
how much do these things normally go for need on for my true percs i have really never seen the blue carpets around much so i have no idea what they go for
i dony want to be ripped off either please let me know thanks

On the West Coast they go for $50 - $75 at the cheaper stores. Expensive stores will charge $100 - $125 (but who shops THERE?)

What species of carpet anemone is the "blue carpet".
(Check the RC Anemone FAQ to aid in ID.)
If you cannot ID the anemone you cannot properly care for it and it should not be purchased (IMO).

There seems to be alot of blue gigantea carpets anemones popping up lately, which is one of the toughest to keep. Definantly get an ID on it before you buy.
