Question on collapsible rain water barrel

So I have a 500 gal tank and like to do large water changes and do it less often. I currently use a bunch of the 20 gal Rubbermaid totes. I would love to get something that will take up less space in the dining room in order to keep the missus happy. LOL. I found this on Amazon:

Does anyone have any experience with one of these or something similar? I know certain plastics can leach stuff into the water. 4 of these babies would be super sweet if they would work. Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm thinking the salt water would take a toll on that material pretty quick and cause it to harden and fail prematurely. As you noted, it may also leech stuff into the water but I wouldn't be able to confirm or deny that. Either way, I wouldn't want a flimsy can like that filled with salt water in my living room. That just asking for trouble when it fails.. The likes of which surely would not make the missus happy.

Why not just get a 50 gallon brute can on wheels and stash them in the yard when not in use?
Here is a Brute dolly.
