question on using 2 single controllers w/ 2 6000s

i'm getting 2 single controllers w/ 2 tunze stream 6000s w/ magnet holders. i would like the multi but that's over my limit. i'm already over. anyway all i really want is to be able to control speed and have each come on and off at different times. this is possible w/ 2 sigle cotrollers, right?

No, the single controller has no on and off option, you set two speeds and 1-7 seconds switching speed. You can set the speed without a controller. I would buy two pumps and wait until you can afford the controller, the pumps work without one and you can set one constant speed.

so w/ 2 controllers they will just stay on, only switching speeds every 1-7 seconds? i don't really mind if they stay on, as long as they change speed at least.
