Hi,

I have a 180 gallon AGA tank. I want to get the multi-controller to power to sreams.

What kind of kit do i need to mount the sreams on the 180 gallon AGA tank

The 6000 have aflow from 0 to 1800?
The 6100 have a flow from ? to 3150?

Could i get the 6100 and use it say from 10% to 50%. i was thinking some times i might want to use the streams at full power to blow around the junk on the bottom of that tank and off the rocks.

i have a bare bottom tank loaded with live rock

Thanks

For a 180 get the 6100s

A 6000 is from 650 to 1850gph.
A 6100 is from 1000 to 3250gph.

From my experience unless you are doing just softies and LPS you want 6100's. The 6100's flow carries 6ft at full power and the 6000 is only good for 4ft. Remember the outlet is 2" so the flow is far more diffuse than a regular powerhead and doesn't have as much oomph as you may be thinking expecially with tons of rock.

You would want 2 6100, 1 7094 and 2 3000.244 install kits.

Hi Thanks

there is no install kit that comes with the 6100 streams. Is it just the stream and you have to buy the kit to install is? Seem werid the kit doesn't come with the pump?

Thanks

It comes with an installation kit but it is not suitable for the heavy Plastic trim found on US made aquariums. Most aquariums in Europe and Canada as well South America are trimless glass and that is what the included set is made for. The set 3000.244 is just a kit that modifies the included holder for use on Oceanic and All Glass aquariums with longer screws and a spacer.
