question to sps keepers about lighting

would you suggest hqi or mogul lighting over a 30" high tank? what are the pro's and con of each? thanks

over my 120x36x30 mixed reef I have lumenarc reflectors with 250w hamilton 14k single bulbs. I did this to save on wattage and not having to use actinic. I keep my sps close to the top and they are happy.
