Is it possible to mix white strip maroons with yellow stripped one?? I recently tried to pair my white stripped maroon but bought a juvenile yellow stripped one that I didn't look closely at to see that it had a hint of yellow in it. Should I bring it back to the store right away?? Or will the pair of the 2 actually work since it is so young?

The issues with pairing up maroons has more to do with whether they are compatible with each other than what color stripes they have. So, yes, it is possible to mix the two.

All right but too late anyway since i brought it back already thinking that it wouldn't work but the yellow stripped one was much much smaller than the white stripped one I currently had in my tank

It's SUPPOSED to be smaller. You introduce two like-sized maroons to one another, it is likely one is going to die.

Perhaps you should read up on this a little before you just start buying fish? I'm NOT trying to flame you - I'm just saying that there has been a lot written on this subject that a quick search will turn up for you.

I knew about the pairing part were you buy one smaller than the other I just thought that it was said that I shouldn't mix the two types of maroons and I tried looking it up on google but couldn't find anything
