Hey All,
I recently purchased a GBTA, and it's been about 5 days, and my mated pair of True Perculas don't seem interested in the addition. My Perculas have been in the tank for over a year, and have been unseperable from a live rock cave. The anemone has taken home to the opposite side of the tank, near the bottom, and is expanded night and day. Both seem happy, but it would be nice if they would host one another. Does anyone have ideas. Also, I have a question on lighting, would 4x65 watts,(2x65pc/ 2x65 blu att.) and 150 watt hqi mh, be sufficient on a 55 gallon long. My water parameters are good, I have a 12 gallon refugium, which keeps my water consistent. If they do not host one another, would it be a bad idea to add another species of clown that is known to host this type of anemone? Thanks all, I appreciate any feedback.
