Questions about this glassholes overflow...

I have it mounted in the center of my back glass and it makes less noise than the standard overflow with u-tube I have on my 55g running at 300gph.
Really smooth overflow IMO. Its very thin and cast no shadows into the tank like my other overflow.
I have never seen the coast to coast in action but they look very nice also. I am just not a fan of having an overflow all the way across my tank. To each his own and whatever works for you.
If there where just one way to build SW aquariums there would be no need for this forum!!
 
Thanks for all the input guys. I really like the looks of these slim overflows, so i am going with them...i am just trying to find a quiet/safe way to drain it. Im thinking i might be able to use the "silent & failsafe" overflow design if i get the largest overflow they make.

Anyone do this?
