You can email Micheal at NYAquatics and ask him if he plans on getting any more in. SDguy for whatever reason I thought orange sided parrots weren't the bowersi... Shows what I know

No worries... parrots seem to be one of the most horribly misidentified, if identified at all, types of fish. Do you know how many species of parrotfish have some sort of orange color on their sides?
Hey Matt. You can look back in this thread, but I originally thought I had a quoyi, but thanks to some of the people here they notified me it was a Scarus rivulatus. It is in a large reef tank and never nips corals. Very cool fish, about 9 inches now. Have had it for over 2 years. Eats everything too.
Not all 4" fish are created equal. This thing is fat as a cigar!
The wrasses didn't even look at him twice so I released him into the wild. Oddly enough, the little annularis tried to give him grief but finally just gave up. He was getting no where.
He's already taken flake...I'm about to go feed mysis. Fingers crossed he takes them on the first day. He is obviously happy to be around live rock again as he is swimming around nibbling on the rock.
Total stunner!

The Quoyi I got from Aaron at Reefanimals ate day two, he never eats like my orange shoulder does for instance but he will graze eat I will call it. 2mm pellets he prefers over all then nori, then mysis. He doesn't touch flake that I see
Does your Quoyi eat pellets out of the water column or only "graze" pellets sitting on the bottom? Will they have a problem with sand if they have to pick food off it?
Orange sided... orange cheek... same pic.... not riskinging for a true Bowersi
I'm with you, I've been trying to track one down, or better yet get one tracked down for me
Anyone? Just need to ensure he is a Quoyi?
