Rabbitfish Stings.

If a Rabbitfish stings another fish, will it cause swelling?

It certainly can. All rabbitfish have venomous spines, and a sting on another fish is meant to be a deterrent.

I had one kill a Powder Brown Tang that was nipping at its fins. Tang looked fine outside of being dead.

Thanks. Well, for some reason, my Yellow tang's eye looked a swollen. At first I thought maybe popeye, but it looked normal again around midnight.
