Radion Lunar Phases

Hi, I have recently acquired two XR15w Pros for my tank and have the following question: when they go into moonlight mode one of them is much dimmer than the other. Not sure if this is supposed to be like this in order to simulate a real moonlight effect but I would like to have both lights at the same intensity, in order not to have one side of the tank almost completely dark. Can anyone help?

Thanks!

turn off the moonlight mode and just program the deepest blue channel at 1 or 2 percent power for three or so hours after your main lights go off for the evening.

Thanks! Meanwhile ecotech customer support told me that this is a calibration issue...?

LOL,Interesting. I have five radion xr 30s that are callibrated every six weeks or so, and depending on the lunar cycle, various lights are on at varying intensities. You could try callibrating and see what they do and then if the variation bothers you, follow my suggestion.

Well, calibration actually worked. The curious thing was that in one of the units the blue channel would go very dimm, but was still on for several clicks if this makes sense. I actually only could tell it was on in a completely dark room and covering the other radion because it was so dimm. That was provably the reason i guess.

Thanks!

Calibration will always resolve spectral differences between Radions, thus the reason I recommended it.
