Radion Pro Fan Replacement

I have a Radion XR30w G3 Pro, and I'm disappointed by the noisiness of the fan. Even when the lights are off, the fan runs at full speed. In my quest for a silent tank, I've decided to replace the fan with something quieter.

I found this old thread discussing replacement fans.
The specs of the original fan seem to be:
80mmx80mmx15mm, 0.35A, 42CFM, 36 dBA

After some googling, I've come up with several possible replacements, though finding a fan in that size with the same airflow and less noise seems impossible.
Ebay Claims 45CFM, 26dBA, but that seems like bull to me
Digikey 31CFM, 29dBA
Alibaba 1 32CFM, 28dBA
Alibaba 2 29CFM, 27dBA

Has anyone here replaced their fan? Which one should I go for? I'm guessing decreased airflow *may* shorten the lifespan of the unit a bit, but hopefully not significantly. I expect the unit to have a thermal failsafe if the temperature gets to an extreme.

Just and observation if your fans are running full all the time how hot are you running them? While they do have a thermal protection I would be concerned with reducing the cfm for noise while simultaneously pushing the LEDs to a point of failure. Can you dial them back a bit to see if the fans will throttle back? Also you should verify they are on the latest firmware as That could help with the fans maxzing out. I have 2 G3 pros and I don't know that I have ever heard the fans but I run max of 55% intensity.for one hour. Just my 2 cents

The fans run at full(or at least loud enough to hear) at 0%. Firmware is 1.7.6. Judging from the comments in the thread I linked, it isn't just me. The fans seem to be noisy and run constantly.

I'm pretty sure that the fans on G3 and older run much faster all the time than on the new G4's. Good luck with the search

The CFM rating must be equal to or higher than the OEM fan..
Voltage and physical size must be the same..

decreased airflow (less CFM) "could" potentially cause a fire hazard and can drastically shorten the life of the product.

Finding a fan with equivalent airflow in that form factor is hard enough, let alone one with less noise. I think I'm just going to have to take the risk with reduced cooling. I'm not planning on pushing the lights to 100% anyway.

Is this a new light or older used one. If it's new and it's that loud I'd consider contacting ecotech. When my G3 was new I couldn't hardly hear mine.
