radium ?

need some info please.i just got home today my 250watt radiums were here.never used them before i'm using 250/400watt lumatek ballasts.? is they are alot less blue than i expected.will they get more blue after they burn in?ballast is set on 250watt not the hqi.thanks

Lumatek ballasts I believe are like my Galaxy ballasts. They're the better choices to overdrive the radium in order to get the white light with "blue" tint that all rave about. They will get more blue over time, but if it's the blue windex look you're going for you could have gone with xm 20k and saved some cash...and much less par.

thanks alex,i was just surprised it kind of reminds me of the phoenix 14kde i used to use.i like it so far we'll see what happens.
