Rainbow Acans

Welcome home!!! All are beautiful, but I love the third pic. Shows some amazing space!!!

Thanks guys.
Iceland is pretty barren of trees.
Lots of water, not just Glaciers, Ice & waterfalls, lots of rain!
No kidding, 15 day trip, 14 days of rain!!

It's 2 pictures put together.
Waterfall & mountain was taken half hour after sunset and the sky picture was taken 5 hours later.
The moon & sun don't rise that high in the sky over there, to get the moon to light up the landscape for the shot you want is very hard. and if the moon is out the entire picture would be different. The 2nd pic I posted was one shot, the mountains and northern lights with the moon out.

Funny you should say that.
We heard this while we were there:
In 1965 and 1967 a group of Astronauts from NASA preparing for the first moon landing came to Iceland. They did not stay in Keflavík, at least not long, but stormed north to the Mývatn region. They chose the area so they could practice in an environment similar to what they would encounter on the moon.

Here's is a one shot picture.
This was a little tiny Icelandic cottage we stayed at for 2 nights, right on the ocean.
