Rainbow Carpet Anemone

I came across this absolutely stunning carpet on a vendor's website and just thought I'd share. Not surprisingly, it already has a home after someone made it rain..... $1600 !
I'd like to see more pics after it has acclimated.

I see so many pictures of corals and fish with color boosted. While I am not saying that this is not a nice carpet, I am sure the new owner will not find this animal as atractive as the picture show.

Here is the other pic that failed to upload on the previous post...

This second picture exactly prove my case. Haddoni have tan column. The seller boosted the color so much that it show as florescent yellow or green. I would not touch that anemone with a 10 foot pole. The buyer will really be upset when he get this anemone.

The color is definitely unique and not your typical red haddoni. But I'm very positive that the color of the picture has been played with to enhanced the uniqueness of colors further.

For what it is worth, I have seen a couple red haddoni with this color pattern in person (without the chrome level boosted). For whatever reason, after some acclimation, they both now look like a standard red haddoni. The greenish/ yellow/ orange coloration in the middle seems to change back to red once the anemone acclimates.

+1. I've seen the same thing happen to one local to me. I believe it's similar to the same white "stress" stripes we often see with acclimating green haddoni.

I had one for 3 months it was doing well and then it started deflating tried to save it with cipro but lost it
