rainbow digi, superman monti needs?

I picked up 1 of each locally but they both came in poor health... rainbow digi is browned out and the superman monti is white base with neon green polyps so it is a bit bleached. Wondering what kind of conditions others have had luck with? I am currently running 250 W 20k and have the digi under high light and the rainbow off center and down low. Both have tons of flow...

post your params and we can go from there. The rainbow should be very easy to get to color up being a monti family

I would find it highly unlkely for true superman polyps to be green under any circumstances. BTW SM like it high in the tank with strong light.

everything else in the tank is coloring up from post shipping, but these 2 are not. I think I got it backwards, rainbow monti, and superman digi (mutli colored digi of some sort).

dosing kalk at night
2 part c balance 50ml per day of each

your params look ok, your alk is high. from what I understand your alk and calcium need to be balanced. and 8.0 dKh is closer to your balance of 410 calcium

also...I agree with putting your monti in some more light and flow

I realize that the alk is a little high just happens to be the inbalance in IO, which I have not learned to deal with yet. Farley mixes in some dow flake and Magnesium supplements to better balance the salt. As most will attest once you get out of balance it is tough to get it just right.

It's a superman digi, and rainbow monti.

any other suggestions for optimal growth of these 2? I have identified that the superman digi needs to be up high with lots of flow, but what about the rainbow monti? I have it in an area of very moderate light and tons of flow...

Superman: WAY high.....I just got one from a guy that it had browned out, I put mine way high thinking I was going to bleach it, but it turned blueish in less than two weeks......if those are pics of yours.....nice pieces. I love the Superman digi....

Rainbow: a little lower than the digi, to midlevel
