Yes.........................they come in single stage & dual stage......

Single stage will control a heater OR chiller.........

Dual stage will control BOTH a heater & chiller............

Both are outstanding pieces of equipment & well worth the money spent...

Ranco's are a thermostat control that is of much higher quality then the cheap ones that are installed on most heaters. Ranco's are used by many testing labs on equipment worth 100's of thousands of dollars. Simply set your Ranco for the temp you want, set your heater's thermostat a few degrees high (in case of failure w/ the Ranco which is highly unlikely) & forget it..................

Danny, consider them a full coverage insurance policy, they protect you against the inevitable failure of cheaper controllers/thermostats.
