Random white spots

Hi, i have a vlamingi tang, hes been quite shy and hiding in the rock work since the tank transfer. He gets random white spots, almost like ick. But when hes happy or eating they go away. Any ideas?

is it like white patches? some tangs have tendency of getting white patches on their body when they are stressed or scared. But if its small white dots, then it might be ich.

When he changes color to camouflage himself, his fins and tail have patches of white spots. In the 55 gallon he was fine, in the 150 hes been hidong ALOT. This is the best pucture i could get. His body doesnt have any spots.

Im going to QT him jist to be safe. He does eat, but only his favorite food. Before he was eating anything and everything.
