Randy's new 120 gallon Reef

Hey Randy what do you feed your cowfish? still behaving? I got mine now for 3 weeks but he only wants to eat brine and misys shrimp. He will not take seaweed or nori. he is about 3". Thanks :)

Mine is a pig. He eats nori, lettuce, flake foods, and frozen foods. More by far than any other fish in the tank. I've not seen him turn down anything that any other fish I have eat. :D

I hope yours comes around.

Stand: 1800

Tank : 900

New TALLER skimmer 400

Look on wifes face when CC bill hits Priceless :)

All I can say is WOW the stand is beautiful and that is in a picture, I cant imagine how good it looks in person

Moe:

There are some pics in the upcoming ozone article for May reefkeeping, although not the best pics to view the tank. It is doing very well right now. The anemone that I got from Armando is doing great.

The pink skunk clowns in it regularly spawn only a few inches away from where the ocellaris pair spawns.

Thanks, Randall. Yes, the stand is very nice now. The price pales in comparison to the new kitchen and hose siding projects now kicking off.

All over the place, but it quickly disappears from view. :)

Here's the tank picture from the article. Not the best picture, but one can see most of the tank. It is a hard tank to get a picture of because the dynamic range of light levels is very high:

Randy, it looks like you're using sodium lights.... do the posted pics really look like that in person? Looks healthy...

I guess the clown fish (plural) did not cooperate, Boxfish in place almost exactly LOL (or were the Damsels paid as stand ins?)

Im really interested to see your refugiums. Can we get some pics of those, despite how ghetto they look  pretty please :)

Mine is super ghetto, but hey its the thought that counts!(and growing macro too lol) and the added side effect of lowering nutrients.

Randy is it true that a brighter coraline lives under brighter lighting and a dark purple lives under lower more actinic lighting?
