rare clams

Yes, although, they do have some at eastcoastclams.com that is out of this world as well! ;)

Hope this helps,

Question for you guys. About 5 months ago, I bought a 6 inch squamosa. Currently is almost 12 inches across. The thing is huge. Is the growth normal? I know a gigas can grow fast, but I never thought a squamosa would as well. At this rate, it will outgrow my 180 gallon tank. How big do these guys get.

Hey everyone - let's not forget that the title of this thread is "rare clams" so I don't want to stray too far off topic.

The quick answer to your question is that T. squamosa maxes out at about 16" from what I've read.

Don't know if this qualifies as rare, but she's the only one that I've ever seen that looks this pretty!

PROJECT REEF, Scotty would be proud!!

That mid picture is sweet! I've tried three times to count the clams, but I find news ones each time I count. They're like Bebe's kids, they don't die they multiply!!
How many clams do you have in that tank? Further how big is the tank, and your bank account?? Sorry that was gauche!! Really nice!!
