Fish Finder, Do you own a store? I am not being sarchastic here but, I asked you for some pictures of your tank while on another thread a couple of days ago because I like to look at and admire other peoples tanks. I get some great ideas this way too. You sent me only one picture, thank you, but the tank was, to say the least, very amature-ish. Not what I expected to see from someone with over 12 years exp. and over 60 tanks.
Again, I am NOT being anything but curious. Thank you

U got PM

Yeah also interseted in what price you paid for the trigger. If he is that non aggressive than he would be an awsome addition to a fowlr tank.

Just a update for everyone he is up and swimming now all over the tank but is still shy if you walk up to him. He now shares his QT with a regel angel, masked dogface puffer, and a scots farry wrass. I can't wait till he's ready for the 500G. I will try to get pic's of him swimming tomorrow.

For those who asked i sent you a PM.

I received one also from the shipment that came into the US last week. Anyone have a good link to someone who has kept one in captivity?

Marvin

Since the last inport of these triggers were about 10 year's ago hardly anyone has them. There are very very few write ups about them around and they don't say much other then where there found. My friend that is a wholesaler in LA told me a bit about them before i brought one. They are considered very very mild tempered. Can be placed in a reef with caution (may eat clams and shrimp). Dose great with semi-aggressive fish or docile fish.

Anything else you would like to know?

Pic update: He's out and swimming around all happy now.

These are the prices from just rare fish

Golden Heart Trigger Fish

Small and Medium, 3 to 4” $150
Large 4 1/2 to 5” $200
Xtra Large 6” and Up $250

I tend to disagree with the mild mannered assessment of these fish unless they have went through a serious attitude adjustment in the last 10 years. Back in the early 1990's these fish were coming in somewhat regularly and were actually fairly cheap ($60-$100). The LFS that I was working at back then got in about 10 of them one time and put the largest speciman (around 7") into their 1000g show F/O tank. It behaved itself for about 3-4 months but eventually started harrasing a huge emperor angel, killed a lionfish (no surprise, pretty common with triggers) but more shockingly beat up on a undulated trigger which at the time was the meanest fish I had ever seen. Some of the other specimans that we sold ended being fairly docile but other were not so I would put it in the class of the picasso/bursa triggers as far as temperment.
