Rarest, most expensive reef fish

Because of my avatar? (which is a pregnant male leafy, image taken south of Australia around kangaroo island). No, I loved watching them in the water and photographing them; it was really quite an adventure. We had to have a safety diver over the leafy to keep it from rising in the water column and getting decompression sickness. They are cold water animals (I was pretty chilled) and need live food. I saw them at the Shedd exhibit but would never even think to try them in my own tanks. Wondrous creatures though.

Camden NJ Aquarium has them on display. Pretty interesting to look at but I don't think I'd ever want to keep them. :)

if I can get a pair of Personatus Angel , then Id empty my tanks, and only keep these 2 fish ... nothing else, no corals no other fish !

unfortunately I dont think it would happen ...

Here is the real gem.

My fish collection is probably about as rare as it's gonna get but I'd love to have a chance at some of the paracheilinus wrasses that haven't made their way into the trade yet. Nursalim being at the top of my list!

The rarest known angelfish is undoubtedly Apolemichthys guezei. If one were ever caught I imagine it could go for at least 30-40k in Japan.

seems that nacrosis is now more rare than pepermint.

then there are the hybrids - conspic personifer if i recall? pls correct if im wrong

was offered a very, very rare and tiny fish 2 nights ago...I passed but it was sold to a reefer in Germany within a few hours...when I get permission, I will post some pics and videos of her...
