Yes, that is a mimic octopus. Here is one that I photographed in Bali:

There is also a photo of Cirrhilabrus lubocki posted above, these guys are extremely variable and I am still not sure if all the "forms" are different species or not. Here two examples, top from Bali, bottom from the Philippines:

And another nice one, inspired by the squid shot (much less dramatic I must say), although I doubt anybody has one of these in the aquarium, they grow too much. Juvenile Variola louti, this one was just about 2 inches long:

the mimic octopus is a very interesting species... i remember seeing a program on the discovery channel on them...amazing photos btw keep posting!

Alright, a few surgeonfish (all taken in Hawaii). Starting with the "ugly" ones.

Acanthurus nigroris:

Ctenochaetus strigosus:

And now for the pretty ones, Acanthurus achiles:

The ever popular Zebrasoma flavescens:

And one of my favorite surgeonfish photos, an Acanthurus olivaceus being serviced by a Hawaiian cleaner wrasse (Labroides phthirophagus):

Odds and ends.

Not your basic tank fish.

These juvenile drums are pretty nice, here a juvy Jackknife Fish (Equetus lanceolatus) in Belize:

Now, speaking of things trying to mate with your camera, these two guys in the Philippines wouldn't stay away either :)

Amphiprion frenatus:

Amphiprion polymnus:

Juv. Jacknife, Curacao. We sometimes see the more gold variety but only when I have the fisheye lens on.

I use to catch surf perch off the california coast and when i would pull them out of the water the isopod things would get mad, come out of the fish and kill it in the process. It kinda freaked me out the first time because the fish started twitching, died, and that thing crawled out lol

Sounds like a sci-fi movie.

Ditto, I also used to catch surf perch off the Californian coast. I freaked out when a isopod crawled out of the fish. LOL Why does the fish die when the isopod crawls out of the fish?

Nice catch on the isopod for sure, I've seen a bunch of fish with isopods but never photographed one inside the mouth like that. What I do like photographing a lot is cleaning behavior, here is the best series I have, photographed at the Great Barrier Reef:
