RBTA blew under rocks.....

As I was attempting to place my new bta, the current caught it und blew it under the very bottom of my rockwork in my 125:uhoh2:. It is in a dark crevice, this happened last night. I know it will move around on its own and kinda pick its own spot but won't it naturally also come out into the light on its own? Any input apppreciated!

It will come out into the light when it's ready. It can tank a week or two for it to adjust to your tank and find the lighting and flow it wants. Unless it's in danger (from a powerhead or overflow), it's better to leave it alone, IMO.

Any photos of the area you're talking about?? If there's light within about 6 inches of the crevice it is in, I would think that it would have extended out already..?

It should of came out. You should try getting him out and put him on top of the rock

Can you see the nem? What does it look like? Is it deflated?

Five days isn't really that long. I've had them hide out for a couple of weeks before they finally emerge. It is probably just adjusting to your lighting.

5 days or not, take this advice.

I moved mine from an olde tank to my new one. They instantly moved to a spot that I don't like, but I refuse to touch or move them. It's all about where they are happy, not us. Give it time. It'll come out eventually and find it's happy place.

Mine was behind rocks as well... it took more than a week for him to come out! I would just let it come out when it is ready.
