Ok, so I bought a RBTA. I acclimated it with a rock that I wanted it on and it attached to it. But now It walked off of that and stuck it's foot into a crevice made by three rocks on the bottom of the tank, so I can't just move the rock. It is not in the ideal flow area but it is still getting flow . I have 12 x T5 HO over a 6ft 125 gal. Is this spot ok for it? ( it's tenticles are not inflated to that bubble tip look) If it is not, is there a way to put it in a better spot? Please help. Thank you

This is just some thing a lot of btas do, no need to panic. It will come out after a few days or a week. If it doesn't come out after a week you might want to try to move it. Please tell us your tank parameters to be absolutely sure that hiding is all its doing.

Give it more time to get accustomed to it's new surroundings, your tank. BTAs (and other nems) will move until they find a suitable location wrt flow and lighting. You can try to relocate the animal to what you think is an ideal spot, but don't count on it. It may work and it may not. More importantly is that you monitor it for health and perhaps try feeding it in a few days. Inflated or bubble tips are not necessarily an indication of the anemone's health. My GBTA hasn't shown bubble tips for some time, the tentacles are quite long but have good, deep colour, indicating plenty of zoox...
If you really really really want bubbles back on your tips. research treating with vitamin c. There is a thread under the zoanthid forum. I and a few others have noticed that dosing with vitamin C had resulted in bubble tips coming back.
