I have a rbta that has gotten the living hell kicked out of it from a big maroon i took the maroon out and now the little maroon is in the anem. its bleached very badly and now the mouth is hanging open a lot. I know its not my tank either I have a Hadanni and three other rbtas doing great any advice on how to nurture it back to health?

strong lighting, good water quality, feedings every other week of mysis or silversides depending on the size soaked in selcon and time...

I think my lights stressed it out to thoe. hes under 400 watt 20 k and i feed him a big chunk of this predator blend stuff that has vitamins in it. should I get the other clown out to?

I had an anemone get caught in a pump and it only had 4 tenticles left. I thought it would die but I had a really good tomato clown that brought it food and it came back to looking really good. Just had to be patient and give it some time. They can be pretty tuff.

yeaa I hope so. its been this way for about 2 months thoe and its looking kinda worse now that the mouth is hanging open at times. Idk I guess im just paranoid

I would suggest taking the clown out if it isn't to much of a pain. My clowns feed my anemone, but they are also stupid. Every time the food gets close to the anemones mouth, the clown grabs it and pushes it around in its tentacles starting the process over. A sick anemone might have a very difficult time handling this, in addition to the clown thrashing around in it every now and again.

RBTA - Is this possible? I can't believe it!
