RBTA keeps DETACHING!!! help

Don't know whats the deal. Overnight he just kept floating, luckily I was there when he did it so I could turn of the powerheads. But yeah, its frustrating because I would put him somewhere else and he would just detach and float. He looks healthy and bubbly so what can it be?

Make sure any powerhead is covered with sponge or screen to prevent the anemone getting sucked in. Rather than turning them off, you will just want to make sure they are properly covered. What are your water parameters? They like to plant their foot on the underside of liverock or in a cave.

is the bottom of the foot sticky, will it adhere to your hands at all?

you can't expect to put the anemone where you want and have it stay there. they will move all around the tank till they find a spot they like, weather it be where you want it to be or not
