is somthing wrong? i figured my nem was happy because it hasnt moed since i got it, then last month it split. i stopped feeding it, sure again a month later its splitting again. they arent even that big to begin with. i run high power leds in a low nutrient system. alk is fine i usally go by how my sps look but they are very happy and my system couldnt be more stable so i dont know what the problem is.

Excessive splitting is usually due to conditions that do not meet the animals needs, it's a survival instinct.
Might want to list all params and tank specs, time running and such, maybe pics

parameters as follow: 30 gallon lps and sps reef. alk 8 no flucuation (vodka dose) steady with kalkwasser, ph 8.2, salinity 1.024, phos 0.03, nitrate undetectable, calcium 420, magnesium 1300, rapid led full spectrum 100 watt leds. i know the anenome is happy because it doesnt move and eats readily, this is an established tank 1.5 years old. guys i know im doing everything right maybe im just one of those lucky people that have anenomes thrive in their tank? im just scared because of my priceless sps pieces :p thanks and sorry for the latent response

As for parameters i believe i am. I dont believe i had any sniede retorts to any one and am always open to advice. I just want to know if this is common in tanks that are established with good husbandry practices, i kinda wanted to skip thru the params because i know they are fine but u guys dont lol. I have seen a lot of tanks with crazy amounts of bubble tip anenomes and wanted to know the reasoning behind it. But thanks for the bump i guess.
