RBTA lighting question

I have 2 150 watt metal halide Phoenix lamps. Do I need to add actinics for a RBTA?

No, actinics are essentially useless for shallow water animals like all the host species of anemones, including RBTAs.

I would add some supplemental actinic LED's like Powerbrites/etc. to add some 'pop' for coloration. (You don't "need" to but again it's helpful color wise.)

All anemones need blue light and white light. Yes, I strongly suggest you get actinics along with your MH. :beer:
