My nem, sporadically, appears to have a runny nose. Snot, for lack of a better term, usually with air bubbles in it, rises to the top of the tank in strings.

Today my female gsm looks like she has it on her dorsal fin and tail fin.

I didnt note any other spots or snots on any other fins or the male.

No worries there, its pretty normal.

buy a turkey baster and suck that stuff out of the tank! helps keep things clean!

the snot is poop? i saw something resembling rabbit pellets, before.

after about 3 pm today, any 'stuff' floating to the top got pulled and by my newly installed overflow, and then neatly skimmed!

first day was about a cup of weak coffee. today it looks greener.

skimmers rock!
