Hey Allââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¦Ã¢â"šÂ¬Ã‚¦

I pickup a RBTA two weeks ago and its been doing well. I bought two Onyx clowns and they have been hosting in it. I fed it (shrimp) for the first time yesterday and it was much larger than normal after I fed it and seemed happy as could be. I just received a call from my daughter and she asked me when I bought another RBTA. Needless to say it split. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? I have a 100% SPS tank and never wanted an anemone because its potential damage so my experience with anemones are lacking. Just wanted to check with the experts on this one.

Anemone splitting is good..Its also a good sign that your tank is a happy home for the anemone...You maybe want the move the sps and make room for the anemone it will sting them so keep a good eye on the coral and let the anemone get some space...Congrats!!

I figured it was a good thing! I am not really worried about the SPS because the RBTA has not moved since day one. Seems its found a cozy place.

I will end up getting rid of the second one locally cause I dont need two :).
