Turned on the lights this morning and saw that my rbta is splitting,now i am also due for a water change today,the anemone has not finished the split so how long or when can i do my water change?
You can do your water change whenever you want. My rbta has split numerous times over the years and I always continue my normal maintenance schedule during the split and when they're healing after separation. Never had any problems.
Agreed. I find my BTAs do best when I ignore them. Just take care of your take as usual. Provided they're not stuck in the overflow, sump, or power head they'll just do their own thing.
