RBTA Tear

One of my RBTAs got caught in one of my powerheads. It was a rio. I shut it off and he started to move away. However he couldn't dislodge himself so he stretched himself to the point of tearing off the part that was lodged in the pump. It looks like his foot is okay, the tear was around the tenticles. 2 questions:

What are the chances of him surviving this?

Is it possible for the small peice that was torn off to become a seperate anemone? Or should I just take that part out of the tank?

Re: RBTA Tear

there is a good chance that it will survive.

I would remove the left overs.....

I don't think a new nem will grow from anything but a piece of the foot... and even then, it should have a piece of mouth, I think. ??

Good luck! I'd say just leave it be, don't try to feed it... wait for it to heal.
