Rbta tentacles are not bubbly

Hey, I bought a rbta from my LFS probably about 6 months ago now and it was doing fine and shortly after having it it split and since hasn't had bubbly tentacles, it looks almost like a long tentacle nem. I've read that it isn't a sign of bad health. Does anyone know what would cause that? Is it because of my perculas clown pair? They host one of the nems.

no one knows the reason why they loose the bubbles, even in the wild you can find them without the bubbles.

Ive had anemones for years. Don't worry about it. Mine do it all the time. They have done it a lot less since I switched to LEDs. Might be a lighting issue, but its not a bad sign.

At first I was concerned but after reading I realized it was just skmething they do. I was wondering if anyone on here had an explanation or something that helps. I just let them find their own place in the tank. I was wondering if it meant they were hungry and extending their tentacles in an attempt to catch something

I'd bet on flow...but too much and they move. When mine have found a good spot and get the most flow over them versus right at them, their tentacles tend to be longer and move in the flow. Whenever they get less flow they tend to bubble more.

What kind of light do you have? I guess medal halide or led right?

They're t5 with ati bulbs. 2 coral plus and 2 blue plus 39 watt

Don't worry about it. Mine will bubble for weeks then not bubble for weeks....

Yes, ^^^^^ this! I'll even get some that bubble and the one next to it doesn't! Go figure!
