Rbta wanting to move under rocks out of light.

I got a rose about 2 weeks ago, and i guess from trauma of being pulled from someones tank and then acclimation process, it split a day or two after acclimation.

The clone has moved all around, and appears to have settled in a post where it is about 70% in the light.

The original nem has moved behind a rock structure in a back corner of the tank. There is a small opening between the rocks and back glass that i can see it peeking out getting some light, but it is only about 20% in the light.

I know these things have a mind of their own and go where they want. Should i be worried about it or is it just still adjusting and healing from the split and acclimation?

Probably just healing from the split...but you never know...I just got a RBTA about 10" wide and it wonders around my tank all the time...it still hasn't settled into just "one" spot yet...it always comes back to the "same, original" spot I put it in, but it also walks around during the day...

Don't worry about it. It will move out eventually... JUST DON'T TRY AND MOVE IT EVEN IF YOU ARE EXTREMELY CAREFUL! I accidentally killed a GBTA I had by trying to move it.

Mine has been wandering for a few weeks now, mainly at night. It's been in the same spot for three days now. :crossesfingers: At one point it was way in the back of the tank under some rocks. I aimed a powerhead at it and it moved for me. I suspect yours are just healing from the split, but if they stay back there, you can try the powerhead.

mine just splitted too...and was behind the rocks...now both are out but one of them wonders around went back to behind the rocks right now...
