Yes, they are the same species, just different colors. They will co-exist with no problems at all.

Those look great together.If you don't mind me asking what kind of lighting do you have. I will soon have my 120 setup and will have 2 400 watt mh's 15k. Hopeing that should be enough light for them to be anywhere in the tank.

ive only ever seen them a dull frosty green or brownish
