Read about the "Nemo" and "Dorry" and how much this guy wants for 'em.

Hmmmm.......$325? Well.... Paracanthurus hepatus ($50.00) + Amphiprion Ocellaris ($18.00) + Scissors(what's the latin name for scissors? :) ) ($12.00) = $60.00

$325.00 - $60.00 = $265.00.......

(are you thinkin' what I'm thinkin'? :D )

It would not be a good idea for me to comment as it would not likely be very...umm....positive.

Allow me to reiterate one of the drums we constantly beat in the selling forums.

Buyer Beware!. :D

"I found this on ebay and felt very sorry for the person. I'm guessing they have no idea about the depreciation on their purchase. When they find out, they'll probably be horrified.

The people are probably quittin' the hobby b/c they think that is really how much it costs to keep marine fish. Those poor people have no idea how badly they got screwed. That's what happens when you go to only one shop for everything (with the exception of a few great LFS).

if anyone refers to their fish as a nemo, they NEED to get out of the hobby... no wonder he has no Idea how much we can get them for at an lfs, he proll got ripped off at a petco

:eek1:

Just the plumbing alone is outrageous!!!

All of the parts listed on the receipt are all at least 4x's what they cost at HD or Savko.

$200 for a Gen-X pump that he can get on-line for $129.

We should be careful what we say :) ....the person is local and just might be on here.

Especially compared to where he bought it! Isn't $1,000 a pretty good deal for all that though?

Your right Jeni,

A $1000 is probably not too bad for that setup. But that's their starting price. Their buyout is $2000, so I don't know what their expectations may be. No consumer should have to be taken for a ride like that.

You mean thats not what there called?
