Ok so every night when my moon lights come on, without fail, my clowns will hang in the bottom corner of the tank, my chromis hides under a rock and my royal gramma hides in a tiny little hole. I randomly look up tonight to see the clowns and chromis swimming around, looking as if there eating phytoplankton or something out of the water. My first thought was did something get shredded in the power head and there feeding on the remains? But everything is there and accounted for. The only thing I can think of was maybe some worm or something tried spawning into the water column and they started eating it?
I have no idea. If anyone has any idea what could have caused this I'm really interested.
Maybe they just decided to go for a little night swim, but I find that too unlikely.
