That ice fire echinata is sick. (Not in a bad way) , that milli in the first pic looks sweet too. Rainbow milli? Wild guess. Will be tagging along for opiinions on color.

List of corals:

Cali tort
Ice Fire Echinata
Oregon Tort
Tyree L.E. Pink Lemonade
CR's Flame On
CR's Sunrise
Tyree tri color
Red planet acro

I realize there will some color loss due to stress, but as of now all have extended polyps and I'm not seeing any decay. The Oregon tort is really washed out. Any thoughts/timeframe on coloring back up would be appreciated. All frags came from cultivatedreef and I am very impressed with customer service and have zero complaints. I would recommend them to anyone.

Overall color looks pretty good, they should color up more in a few weeks.

Also, there's no way that's any Icefire Echinata, at least not the original and is probably just an Aussie A. speciosa that often gets called an "Icefire Echinata". They
are just doing what every other vendor does, but it's a shame because the original is stunning and not really much like all of the wild colonies that get labeled as a knockoff.

Not sure what to make of that Oregon Tort. It's one of those corals that usually ships well and holds color, so if in fact that is an oregon tort, I'd suspect it was washed out like that before it shipped. If it colors up to a deep blue you'll will be a big indication if it's legit or not.

Yea it definitely fooled me on that ice fire (don't know how to tell the difference), but I have also read a thread on true Oregon tort that have been in the states and trying to trace where the colonies have ended up. They are nice pieces over all.

The coloring up questions, of course it's going to vary per specimen and water peram.
My little sps tank runs at 10/10.5 dkh and 410 ca with 0 of the basic levels and heavy skimming.

The brown or pale corals picked up at LFS took really close to three weeks before the colors were visible on camera but I could see the shades in a couple weeks. But yours seem to have fairly good color won't take but a couple weeks with great water quality.

These are opinions and inferences so if you disagree or have a different experience, I'm here to learn.

:edit: as for lighting, I run a 150watt pheonix 14k supplemented with 4 24watt t5.

I'd keep those down low for a while.........they all looked slightly bleached.

As far as the Ice Fire..........I'd take the Aussie Ice Fire echinata with the white skin over the Tyree Ice fire any day. The blue pops much more with the white background.

Besides that, there are very few corals that carry pure white in them.

Thanks for all the insight, a few have already started to color up and I only lost one to rtn. I'll get some updated pics tomorrow.

They all look perfect!!! im sure they will do fine. Polyps open up within the first 2min in my tank. your colors are awesome!
