Recommendations for centerpiece fish?

Clownfish are protecting their domicile. The main difference is there lack of jaw strength and the bones in their mouth. I am not saying that Triggers WILL attack his clams. I am saying that most breeds have been known to. Which even one time is still to many times for me. I have never, EVER, EVER seen an ocellaris percula ever go anywhere near a clam. That being said, you could get a mated pair of two stripe clownish, black onyx clowns or white clowns. They are interesting looking. Will also host different corals that are on the hardy side of the line so you don't have to worry about an anemone. Which is a thought

Murf, Fishy business had a flame fin tomini tang for about $30 the day you got your blenny. Seascape had a really big one in the "expensive fish tank", so I didn't even ask the price. They're cool fish, but not the kind you'd notice across the room. I'm shooting for a pyramid right now.

I will respond one time, outside of issuing comments or suggestion on others actual tank issues. Why would I want anyone over my house? You should probably re-read the thread.

The people that, in time, have proven that they are devoted to the hobby - I have no problem with allowing them things. As I have no problems giving away corals either. My credentials are not important to this board. What is important, is the information that I can bring. To me it is pointless to argue with people 90% of the time. So I could not care less if my background is EVER verified. It does not matter to me what people think, unless they act like a peer.

My credentials were given to one person. That person may or may not use the information. However, I do not succumb to “It’s time to put up or shut up”.

Tomini Tang (Flame Fin) are actually rather rare. Once they grow larger, are also quite attractive. I have 2 of them in front of me right now. They are one of my favorite fish, obviously because of the username. However they can be rather agressive towards other tangs so I WOULD NOT add one to your tank at this point in time, seeing as how you have two.

Murf,

I'm sure you could find the Personifer or the Queensland Yellowtail
( which looks the same but stays about 6 inches smaller ) in the
$150 to $200 range. These are a couple of species I been looking into as a possible centerpiece to the larger system I'm
working on setting up.

I was devistated when I lost the Blue Spot, how do you think I'd feel if I lost a fish like that?

I don't know enough about you to not press charges over that second emoticon Eric (or whatever your names is). However it is directed at me. I will allow a good deal of stuff, but not that. Sorry man.

Exactly what charges are you going to press? If you can't handle the fact people may disagree with you, maybe a discussion forum isn't a good use of your valuable time.

Yeah, I'm right there with you on the feeling of losing a Bluespot,
at least yours was a pure fluke. My loss was completely avoidable
had I planned my tank move better.

I bet he'll go away then with never a response from us?

Ladies and gentleman,

Every user on this board has to ability to add someone to their Ignore list. What that does is blocks any posts by that user from your view as well as blocks them from sending you PM's and emails through RC. This is a huge community of people and it is impossible to think that everyone will get along with everyone and that everybody has the same standards or manners of communication. If you simply cannot deal with certain people, add them to your ignore list and carry on.

Thanks.

It always surprises me how things go so awry in here. This may be sacrelige in some people's minds, but--IT'S JUST A HOBBY, FOR PETE'S SAKE! Key to any hobby is having FUN!!!!!!!

Well, now all I have to do is FIND a pyramid angel. Even though they're not very expensive, their availability may not be all that good.

i would never put my hand in murfs tank, you shouldve seen them eat the macro he put in.
