IME the two glaring areas that gigantea and haddoni husbandry differ are lighting and feeding.
gigantea will require much more attention and TLC than a haddoni in a similar situation.
*haddoni will try to avoid heavy water motion while gigantea requires it to survive
*haddoni can (possibly) do just fine under lower lighting while gigantea demands intense lighting (and regular feedings)
*haddoni will eat all sizes of food while gigantea seems to do better with smaller sized foods (only)
*gigantea might start looking sickly if water temps start dipping into the mid 70's while haddoni seems to handle such "cooler" temps just fine
many anemone keepers having experience with these two species report that haddoni will move if uncomfortable ("unhappy") while gigantea rarely moves on it's own and will likely die in the spot you place it before it moves to a better perch
haddoni is the fish eater- gigantea isn't nearly as fond of sushi as haddoni.
I hope this helps.
FWIW gigantea are more delicate than haddoni. This probably contributes to their lower tolerance for shipping handling and acclimation.
