Red Carpet to dangerous?

Maybe the spots we are seeing are some sort of reflection or shadow. If it is a gigantea with tentacles that short, it has a long way back to become healthy.

lots of people have carpets i would love a list of all the fish eating experiences so we can truly understand how bad/good these guys are

Ok I will give this a shot. In the year+ I have owned my haddoni this is what its eaten.

3 Ocellaris Clowns(tank-raised)
2 Cleaner Wrasses
Hi-Fin Goby
Blue Mandarin
Blue Throat Trigger (boy that was something to watch)
Flame Angel
Orange Spot Sleeper Goby
Bar Goby
Cleaner Shrimp
Pistol Shrimp

Its not that they are bad its just mother nature. A lot of these deaths were from my clowns chasing fish into the nem.

Sure looks like the column has purple verrucae so I'd guess gigantea too. Maybe a closeup shot would help shed some light on this, if the new owner feels so inclined to share. :)

Haddoni or gigantea though, either way it is exquisite.
