Very nice nem. Just so you're aware, it may be a species that stays that size but splits about once a month.

It look like a Maxi-mini to me also. Can you take a clear picture of the tentacles near the edge? To me, that would be most helpful in deciding between the two species.
Psionicdragon got a few small red carpet that turn out to be Maxi-mini also.

Just as another point for ID, does it happen to have a red base/foot? Haddonis do not, but the smaller nems frequently do.

Maybe this is a Haddoni after all. Keep us posted. Feed him every other day and if he is a Haddoni, he will grow quickly enough.

Tht yellow lipstick rim gives it away for me.. That's truly a small guy.. good luck and keep us updated!!

Maxi mini have the green/yellow lipsticks also.

either way, if you don't want it, you can always give it to me as an early xmas gift :P jk

Congrats though

Maxi mini have longer tentacles right at the edge, the outermost roll. These tentacles are longer and have pointed tips.

I have a mini red and the give away is the green mouth. But the base is also red or red with green striations. These are great but mine hasn't split yet to my knowledge. It runs to the back of the tank usually.
