Red Dragon 2000 Alternative for BK

Wondering if anyone has had any luck using an aftermarket pump for the Bubble King Super Marin 250? The stock pump is the Red Dragon 2000.

You will be hard pressed to sub that pump with anything that will perform nearly as well as the pumps that were designed for that skimmer. There is a new RD3 replacement for it which is one option that will bring the skimmer up the latest spec. The other alternative is fixing the current issue. I assume you block failed? If so, I think we have the replacement blocks in stock in Florida. Feel free to PM me and I will help you try to get your pump situation resolved. slief, Thank you very much!! My new(to me) BK Supermarin is in the mail to me currently. The seller stated that the pump was not functioning properly.... Until I receive it and go through it I am unsure what the problem is. I am hoping it is just calcification and I can disassemble, vinegar soak, clean, and good to go. That is my hope(fingers crossed). I figured I would ask on worst case scenario that the pump was DOA....
I will be in touch once I receive it and see what the issue is....
