I'm going with Haddoni. Notice the Longer tentacles are skinny and bulb at the tip. Like it is stretching. And it is on the sand. Granted I have heard of gigs on the sand but I'm sticking to Haddoni. Most HAPPY Gigs I've seen look like a shag rug anyways.

It is prob stretched so much cause all the Actinics. Thats my Opinion.

If you have another chance, use flash, or come back when the light is more natural. It is too bad that the color of this picture is drowned out by the actinic. I think it is a Gigantea but that picture does not shoe it beyond reasonable doubt.

Here you go guys

im assuming this is jason from Greenwich Aquaria? either way you got a beautiful creature on your hands, and i agree with the others, just for a 100% definite positive idea a flash would be ideal for us to actually see..

im also still sticking with a S. Gigantea.. although others make viable points, just something in my gut has me sticking with S. Gig .

i want to post a video to show you the movement, someone please tell me how to do it.....:fun2:

the file is 95.5MB. the format is Video Clip, and i can't seem to upload it to youtube.

Very interesting indeed, though I'm going to agree with Haddoni pending better pictures. I fiddled with that shot in Photoshop and it appears that the verrucae are the same color as the column.

What program did you edit/modify it with? Is there another export type?

Type camera?

i used a Nikon D90 to record the video and then drag it to my PC. the file name is XYZ.AVI, but under properties it said file type Video Clip.

i did not edit or modify it other than just change the actual name of the file, not file extension.

It looks like a Gig to me.
You should open a new thread to document about it.
One thing I wonder that since it is a healthy Gig, why the tentacles are still short and stubby.
May be it is a Gig-Haddon anemone?
Anyhow, this is absolutely amazing.
