Red planet acro hard to find or overpriced??

That is really odd, definitely a RP but growth pattern wise almost looks like A. prostrata. Does it receive lighter flow? Id be willing to bet if you nailed it with heavier flow it would start densing/plating up.

The strangest thing is that it is getting blasted by RW-8 on full else mode and always has been. I have 2 of them pointed at eachother and the RP is right where the streams collide.

Mine grew real wierd.

this is my red planet , wondering why the color is not as deep as yours, plus i see green in my frag too

When getting intense light, the Red Planet will be all "red". When under moderate to lower light the base color turns green generally. As far as the deepness of color, this can depend on a lot of factors but generally would be lighting/nutrient levels and stability of water parameters in my experience.
