I had the same problem with my Red Planet. It is under T5's at approximately 260 par. The base of mine is now getting really green and it was because of my alkalinity. As soon as I raised the alk, I saw green appearing. Check out a pic here.

It went down to 6 and now I dose to keep it at 9.8ish. The REd Sea salt I use actually has an Alk around 11 but my tank never gets that high.

Thanks for all the respones. It’s obvious now it’s not the T5’s. I’m going to play with raising my nutrient levels and see if that helps darken up my pieces.
