I have 3 different kinds of red planet acros or at least thats what they were sold to me as. I see people with pics of them and some are a nice pink color and some are a deep red color. the ones i have are a brownish green color, is there any way to get them to color back up?

i had water chemistry issues and when I fixed them the color came back...from white base :(-->

The color of mine is intense red with underlying green.

No phosphates, and feeding them every three days with Rod's food. Placement has always been high in the tank with good flow.

i have no phosphates in the tank, i hardly feed the fish i have and do water changes once a week. when i get home ill test the water and tell you the stuff

the green in mine would brown out if i put it up too high in my tank. i have found the best spot for me is about 1/3 the way up under t5 lighting. any higher and i lose the green.

I have what I think is a weird color combination for the red planet, teal green base with red polyps. I have seen a lot of color variations of this coral.

I recently moved mine down to the bottom to see if I can get some green out of it. Before I moved it last week, I had it about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom.

i believe the color varries base on the intensity of lighting i recieves. more lighting you get red/white and lesser you get red/green. at least that what i'd gathered so far from other threads.

I've got mine midway in my t5 tank... top half that faces the light is red/pink, and the underside maintains the red with green base. I've got another that is still coloring up that I may try a different location with that one. I love the color so dont mind having two!

LOL sorry I can not spell. I just go my first frag of Red Planet. I have been wanting one since their release.
