I finally have the little guy eating frozen brine shrimp and mysis!!! for about 1 month, all he ate was what he could find on the live rock. He has improved in his health big time. When I got him, his stomach was pinched in, and now he is a fat little guy! One question, he burries him self in the sand at night with just his eyes showing. Will try to get a pic of him. Is this normal for them?

It is normal for some species, here in FL, the lancer dragonette does it not only at night but when trying to hide from predetors. I have never kept regular scooter blennies, but I don't think it is restricted only to these two. An interesting fact is that mandarine dragonettes have a thick and unapealing skin slime (advertised by the bright color) that warns other fish they are either toxic or at the least don't taste good and I have yet to see them bury.
