Red Sea Coral pro salt

DrHarryLopez

One Happy Reefer
Ran out of salt.
After using ESV for a year I decided to go back to Reef Crystals, but just finished my last bag. Our old hookup has been MIA so I shot out to fish town to pick up some salt mix.

Tropic Marin ~$84 bucket
Reef crystals 50lbs bag ~$31
Red Sea Coral pro salt ~$75 bucket

Any thoughts?

I've been getting Reef Crystals from Aquarium Village for just under $50.00 for 200 gallons. I don't know what his price is on the Red Sea stuff, but his prices in general are good.
Pet's Warehouse will probably also beat the prices you posted above.

great salt. it has done wonders for my tank and corals. I always thought all salt was the same until I tried this one. I definitely have seen a difference/change. It is a little on the pricey side but in this hobby what isn't

Thanks Larry, I guess I'll be heading out to AV for my salt needs and I'm sure many other things!

Well I bought this bucket, so it has a month to prove itself. Thanks for the encouragement.

Just mixed up my first batch of RSP. ALK tested at 12.4 dKH, which was within range as noted on the label.
